In this Environmental Science session, Dr Richard Cooper, Lecturer in Environmental Sciences at University of East Anglia, will run an interactive talk for students on Towards Clean Rivers: How to Achieve Sustainable Catchment Management.

Across the world our rivers and wetlands are facing ever growing pressures from pollution and overexploitation. Achieving a viable future for freshwater resources will require concerted efforts across all sectors of society to improve the sustainability of water use.

In this session, we explore how the practice of sustainable catchment management can, and is, being used to help deliver a brighter future for our precious water resources.
