STEM: Pharmacy, Pharmacology & The Exciting World Of Drug Discovery With Rosemary Norton at University of East Anglia

Do you have a passion for chemistry and biology? Do you want to use your scientific knowledge to help others, providing patient centred care or making the medicines of the future?
Pharmacy and Pharmacology are both great options, but how do you choose between the two? In this session, UEA will tell you more about these exciting courses, highlight the key differences and answer any questions you may have.

Suitable for: Year 12 and 13 students (and equivalent) studying chemistry and with a possible interest in studying pharmacy or pharmacology. Teachers are also very welcome to join; please feel free to make it a class event.
Preparation or Pre-Reading: We recommend that students consider in advance some questions relevant to their own interests and potential applications.
The IT Setup: The event will be run on Bluejeans and participants will be able to join using laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. You will be able to interact with the university via microphones and/or typed comments and questions. Full details will be sent to those who have registered (see below) prior to the event.
