Sociology/Psychology: Understanding Mental Pain In ‘Our’ Time with Tali Lernau from Goldsmiths, University of London
12th July 2017 @ 14:30 - 15:30
People have always searched for meaning and explanations to key questions related to human nature and psychology: How do we become who we are? Why do we suffer? What distinguishes between health and sickness? How will we feel better?
In this webinar we will look at the link between social-cultural eras (e.g. modernism, post-modernism) and the way in which we understand our psychological world and mental pain. We will be looking critically at each era as ‘our’ time and will ask ourselves, ‘what does the future hold?’
