In this interactive session, we will be talking through the complexities of working with vulnerable adults experiencing abuse. We’ll explore the challenges for professionals (social workers, health professionals, police etc) of working to keep people safe while also exploring the right of adults to make choices about their own lives.

This session will be of interest to anyone thinking about a career in health and social care or public services. It will also be of interest to students studying the dynamics of interpersonal relationships and those with an interest in broader social justice issues. The session will be led by Dr Megan Robb who is a lecturer in Social Work at the University of Bath.
