Screenwriting: Skills & Insight – The Art of Screenwriting: Workshop with Professor Steve Waters From University of East Anglia
13th October 2022 @ 17:30 - 18:30
In this Screenwriting session, Steve Waters, Professor of Scriptwriting in the School of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing at University of East Anglia, will run an interactive skills and insight workshop for students on The Art of Screenwriting.
This online session will explore the basics of screenwriting: why is a screenplay formatted as it is? How can your story be told visually and dramatically? What role does sound or point of view play?
Using extracts from screenplays and writing exercises, this workshop offers some ways into writing for Film and Television.
The session will develop skills and approaches to support students in their Screenwriting interests.
