July 1 @ 17:00 - 18:00

We are delighted to present the Before, During and Beyond … series from Aberystwyth University in which each event focuses on a particular subject area to introduce the decisions that need to be made before choosing a degree course, the study period itself and how University alumni have succeeded beyond studying the course.

In Before, During & Beyond … Maths the session is split into 3 sections –

  • Before – Robin, a Student Recruitment Officer at Aberystwyth University, will take you through the steps you can take to prepare yourself to study Maths at University. He’ll focus on elements such as the application process, choosing the right course and Maths Career options.
  • During – Dr Gwion Evans, Maths lecturer at Aber Uni, will talk about our facilities and modules which will give you an insight into what it’s like to study Maths at University.
  • Beyond – A guest alumni of Aberystwyth University will talk about their own career since graduating from University with a Maths degree. We’ll be able to showcase what kind of careers await you as a Maths graduate, and look specifically at how a graduate might use Maths in their career.
