DESCRIPTION:Jonathan Hardwick from Inspiring Futures will give an interactive talk for Year 10 students about thinking ahead towards their future careers. \nInterspersed with various activities Jonathan will encourage students to think about the world of work\, how it is changing\, and how they might fit into it. In particular Jonathan will talk about employability skills which are likely to be highly relevant over the next couple of decades; the period in which students taking part will be establishing their professional careers. \nThe session will also discuss happiness and job satisfaction and how to prioritise personal motivations when thinking\, and making decisions\, about education and careers. Finally Jonathan will talk about organisations that will be able to help with the decision making process. \nSuitable for: Year 10 \nPreparation/Pre-reading: It will be helpful for students to consider questions in advance. \n  \n
