Hospitality, Leisure & Tourism: University Study & Careers In Hospitality, Leisure & Tourism – Graduates Tell Their Story With University Of Surrey
March 18 @ 13:30 - 14:15
In this webinar we connect University of Surrey who will introduce their Hospitality, Leisure & Tourism courses before we connect with one or two of their graduates who are working in the field.
This is a great chance for Year 12 & 13 students (and equivalent) to hear about undergraduate Hospitality, Leisure & Tourism study, the graduates’ university experience, and how this has prepared them for their current roles.
There will be lots of opportunities to ask questions and to find out about the decisions the university alumni have made since they were in Year 12 & 13 to successfully embark upon, and establish themselves in, their careers.
An insight into what these roles and opportunities look like during COVID will also be provided.
Our events are designed so that a group of students can take part from a classroom or students and teachers can take part as individuals, either from school or from home. This means that sessions will continue irrespective of possible school closures.
As a live, participative event, this session will not be recorded but slides and other resources will be shared after the event, where available.
Suitable for: Year 12 & 13 students (and equivalent) studying, or with a possible interest in studying, Hospitality, Leisure & Tourism and related disciplines.
Preparation/Pre-Reading: Students may wish to consider questions they have about studying and working in Hospitality, Leisure & Tourism.
The IT Setup: The event will be run on Bluejeans and participants will be able to join using laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
