5th July 2021 @ 17:00 - 18:00

We are delighted to present Your Wellbeing at University, a series from Aberystwyth University which introduces the key topics around your successful wellbeing at University. Wellbeing Practitioners, Accessibility Advisers and current students will discuss 4 key topics focusing on your preparation, lifestyle, friendships and general wellbeing.

As humans social connection is a fundamental need, so it is important to ensure we build trusting and helpful connections to help us in the good times and the not so good times. In this webinar, Friendships, we will set out what a healthy friendship is; how you can be an effective friend and how to manage any friendships that are not so healthy or helpful to you:

· Human connection – friendships

· Recognising unhealthy friendships/connections

· Setting your boundaries – building healthy friendships

The aim of the webinar is to help you strengthen your skills in building healthy friendships, so that you can feel healthily connected in your friendships and be prepared for the times when changes occur in friendships.

Staff and students from Aberystwyth University will present the webinar and will be there to answer any questions you may have about getting ready for UNI life and what UNI life can bring.

Anisa Begum is a Wellbeing Practitioner (Mental Health Specialism) and Nicky Cashman is an Accessibility Adviser in Aberystwyth’s Accessibility Service.
