HE Guidance: Student Finance & Support Available with Hannah Wake from UEA

Student finance can be a puzzling topic but UEA aim to make it simple and answer all your questions.
In this session we will cover the following:
- How much will it cost?
- How much can you borrow?
- How and when can you pay it back?
- What university funding and support is available?
- How can I make the most of my money?
We take you through student finance, including SFE loans, bursaries and scholarships.
Suitable for: Year 12 & 13 students.
Preparation or Pre-Reading: We recommend that students prepare in advance some questions relating to their potential university application and what the financial implications of studying might be.
The IT Setup: The setup is similar to Skype, using a pc and webcam, although students take part as a group with the image projected on a whiteboard rather than as individuals in front of lots of pcs. We will work with your IT department to ensure everything is set up and working prior to the event. The sessions are generally limited to 3 to 5 schools to maintain the interactive nature of the experience.
