HE Guidance: Making The Most Of … University Fairs (Virtual) With Robin Lovatt From Aberystwyth University

October 19 @ 13:00 - 13:30

We are delighted to present the Making the Most of … series from Aberystwyth University which looks at all the different decisions that you need to make throughout your time in the sixth form; be it making the most of the sixth form in the first instance, to your well-being, and attending University fairs physically and virtually, Open Days and so much more…

In this webinar, lasting no more than 30 minutes, we will be providing 6 key areas that you need to consider and the tips and techniques you can take on board for Making the Most of … University Fairs (Virtual).

The session will cover the following topics –

  • The different types of Virtual Fairs available for students e.g. UCAS, UK Uni Search and more.
  • A breakdown of what you can do and see during the fair.
  • Things you can do to prepare for a fair.
  • A tour around a Virtual Fair, for students to get an insight on what to expect.
  • Key questions for you to ask during the fair.
  • How to sign-up to a fair.

A present student may take part in the session to demonstrate the valuable information they gained from attending similar events.

Robin Lovatt, one of Aberystwyth’s renowned Student Recruitment Officers, will provide his own experiences alongside current students and will be posing questions for you to consider.
