DESCRIPTION:Register Here\n \n  \nWe are delighted to present the Making the Most of … series from Aberystwyth University which looks at all the different decisions that you need to make throughout your time in the sixth form; be it making the most of the sixth form in the first instance\, to your well-being\, and attending University fairs physically and virtually\, Open Days and so much more… \n\n\nIn this webinar\, lasting no more than 30 minutes\, we will be providing 6 key areas that you need to consider and the tips and techniques you can take on board for Making the Most of … Preparing your Personal Statement. \nDafydd Morse\, one of Aberystwyth’s renowned Student Recruitment Officers\, will provide his own experiences alongside current students and will be posing questions for you to consider. \nThis is a great chance for Year 12 & 13 students (and equivalent) to hear about how to get the best of your time in the sixth form\, and make the right decisions related to University and beyond. \nThere will be lots of opportunities to ask questions. The format is accessible\, friendly\, informative and participative. \n  \n\n\nFor further details about this great series and to see other Making the Most of … events on offer\, please click below: \n  \nMaking the Most of … Series with Aberystwyth University \n\n\n\n\nOur events are designed so that a group of students can take part from a classroom or students and teachers can take part as individuals\, either from school or from home. This means that sessions will continue irrespective of school closures. \n  \nSuitable for: Years 12 and 13 or equivalent students taking part in student groups or as individuals. Advisers\, teachers and parents are very welcome too. \nPreparation or Pre-Reading: There is no formal preparation or pre-reading but participants may like to consider in advance some questions relevant to the topic. \nThe IT Setup: The event will be run on Bluejeans and participants will be able to join using laptops\, tablets\, and mobile devices. If you are joining as a school group\, we recommend connecting with one device and projecting on to a whiteboard. You will be able to interact with the university via a microphone and/or typed comments and questions.
