DESCRIPTION:Register here \n  \n  \n \n  \nFiguring out what finances could be available to you when going to university can be confusing. Let us help you make it easy with a step-by-step guide to understanding loans\, bursaries and scholarships. \nBy attending the webinar\, you could find out if you’re eligible for reduced fees or additional money to help support your studies. We’ll inform you when to apply for student finance and show you how to use the finance calculator. \nIf you have questions about financing university bring them here so we can help. By the end of the webinar\, you will have everything you need to get your finances in order. We’ll even share with attendees our budgeting workbook so you can plan your money with confidence. \nThis webinar is part of UEA’s ‘How will I pay for university?’ series – click below to find out more and register for the second part\, where you’ll hear from a current student about how they manage their money: \n  \n7th December 16:30-17:15 – How Do I Manage My Money At University? UEA \n  \nParents and carers are also welcome to attend the session\, to better understand how to support their young person. \n  \n\nOur events are designed so that a group of students can take part from a classroom\, or students and teachers can take part as individuals\, either from school or from home. This means that sessions will continue irrespective of possible school closures. \nAs a live\, participative event\, this session will not be recorded but slides and other resources will be shared after the event\, where available. \n  \nSuitable for: Year 12 & 13 students (and equivalent) who have applied\, or are considering applying\, to study at university. The webinar is aimed at students who are eligible for home fees. To check eligibility and find out more (check here). Advisers\, teachers and parents/carers are also very welcome to join us. \nPreparation/Pre-Reading: Students may wish to consider questions they have about student finance and available support. \nThe IT Setup: The event will be run on Bluejeans and participants will be able to join using laptops\, tablets\, and mobile devices. If you are joining as a school group\, we recommend connecting with one device and projecting on to a whiteboard. You will be able to interact with the university via a microphone and/or typed comments and questions.
