DESCRIPTION: \nStudent finance can be a challenging subject. Here at the University of Winchester though\, we like to keep it simple. \nIn this session Ruth will cover the following: \n\nHow much will it cost?\nHow much can you borrow?\nHow and when can you pay it back?\nWhat university funding and support is available?\n\nFour simple questions. Four simple answers. Book on to this session and we will tell you more. \nSuitable for: All Year 12/13 students. \nPreparation or Pre-Reading: We recommend that students prepare in advance some questions relating to their potential university application and what the financial implications of studying might be. \nThe IT Setup: The setup is similar to Skype\, using a pc and webcam\, although students take part as a group with the image projected on a whiteboard rather than as individuals in front of lots of pcs. Dedicated videoconferencing equipment is also compatible if available to the school. We will work with your IT department to ensure everything is set up and working prior to the event. This is a dedicated session but\, generally\, sessions are limited to 3 or 4 schools to maintain the interactive nature of the experience. \nBooking a Place: This is a dedicated session following a request from a school for university input.
