Schools can take part in as many or as few of the webinar events during the day as they would like (See other events). Please be aware of this when signing up. \nDetails of this session are as follows: \nDr Helmut Hauser Why our robots need to be more like Baymax and less like Terminator\nA new type of robotics is on the way; Soft Robotics\, which uses soft materials like silicone\, plastic\, springs and inflatable body parts to build intelligent systems. In this talk you will find out why this type of robots will play an important role in the next generation of robots. \nPlease do get in touch if you have a group that would like to take part.
