Business/Entrepreneurship: Running Like Clockwork – What Makes A Business Tick? With Dr Tiago Botelho From University of East Anglia

7th July 2020 @ 14:30 - 15:30

If you want to work in business, or maybe even start your own, you’ll need to understand how organisations operate. How are relationships and resources managed? How are decisions made?

Like a clock, a business is constituted of several “cogs” that need to work together so the organisation is able to create and deliver value to its stakeholders.

This session will focus on providing a general description of how a firm works, looking at the different parts of the business.

We’ll also look at the interrelated nature of business using business models, theories and techniques to support analysis of business issues and situations, discussing different examples (e.g. Facebook, Uber, Skype).
