19th March 2024 @ 12:45 - 13:30
In this Business/Accounting session, Victoria Tiplady, Lecturer in Accounting in the Norwich Business School at University of East Anglia, will run an interactive skills and insight workshop for students on Comparing 2 FTSE 100 Companies – Which Is A Better Investment – JD Sports or Frasers Group?
What kind of information is used to analyse a public company? How might you decide between investing in two similar retail companies: JD Sports and Frasers Group? We will look into what information we can gather, how we can analyse it and how to make sense of the publicly available annual report and accounts.
We invite groups and individuals to join us to play the role of an investment analyst specialising in retail equities (stocks and shares) and help to decide whether to invest in JD Sports or Frasers Group.
