Art: The Developing Practice Of Undergraduate Artists With 1 University TBC
April 28 @ 13:30 - 14:15
This is a studio based session in which undergraduates talk about their developing practice as young emerging artists. The undergraduate artists from a university (tbc) will help sixth form students taking part to reflect on their own work and interests across a range of media whilst helping them to consider what a degree in Art entails and whether it might be for them.
Students taking part will have the chance to talk to the undergraduate students, asking and responding to questions.
Suitable for: Year 12 students with a possible interest in studying Art at university. Year 13s will also be very welcome.
Preparation or Pre-Reading: We recommend that students consider in advance some questions relevant to their own practice and relevant to the further study of Art at university.
The IT Setup: The IT setup will be different depending on whether schools are open or closed as a result of COVID-19 and therefore whether students will access the session at home or at school. We will update this section nearer the time when we have a clearer idea.
Booking a Place: This is free for schools and colleges. Please do express interest here
We will contact you nearer the time with further details about how to connect in to the session.
